are many reasons to create a website and there are many
different types of sites. If you are looking to create
something for the family which will never draw any real
traffic, a free web provider should serve you well.
Just jump on Google and search out <free web
hosts>. Just beware that nothing is life is free in
case you haven't learned that yet. Most of these
providers have tons and tons of advertising or products for
sale. Just beware!
Most visitors to this site are interested in building
a web site to represent their service or brick and mortar store
front. I've received many inquiries from readers of
my guides about this subject. We'll try to simplify
this subject as much as possible.
You can again, jump onto Google and search out <cheap web
hosts> if you like. You'll see several comparison
sites offering anywhere from 10-15 different links to web
hosts. You may or may not know that those links are
affiliate links from the web site and rest assure the owner
would not be promoting a business unless he or she was making
money on them.
I only tell you this so you can take all advice with a
'grain of salt' as the saying goes. You can spend hours
visiting the sites and comparing the offers and you'll still
probably miss something.
I can say this since it took me several years to find
trustworthy web hosts. I currently use the hosts listed
on this page and have done so for years. You can find
hosts for a few pennies less per month but after years of use
and continuing research on the subject, I still only recommend

for most. Check the details and you'll

dedicated IP addresses. Not a concern if
not doing e-commerce. If you plan on
growing an online web of money producing sites

affiliates) then I'd suggest going with the
"Reseller Hosting" plan on the right.

years I've used all the big names. Many times I've
learned the degree of difficulty increased with the price
